Born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Laura was brought to California as a young child.  Through very interesting twists and turns in early life, including being born to parents that could not raise her, she has had a very eclectic family life.

 Due to her adventurous spirit, she has also had a very eclectic career path encompassing many different challenging positions, including working in retail, as a legal/executive secretary, residential real estate salesperson, as an account execute for advertising sales, lead generation of different types for mortgage and insurance professionals, insurance sales, public relations and marketing,  traveling the country as a look-a-like entertainer, becoming  a professional massage therapist with high interest and much study on varied subjects of holistic health practices, and now a writer/poet/ Ordained Interfaith Minister, and a continued  commitment to God to follow as divinely led.

She has also done extensive volunteer work for Know Thyself as Soul Foundation, previously known as Kirpal Light Satsang,  for many years, as well as for the Children's Bureau, working with children in crisis.

Most importantly, Laura's main interest after trying many things in life that don't work to give peace, was her vast and sincere search for spiritual peace; i.e., to really get it right with God.  She felt she had a good connection with Him,  and that He was running her show, but that  something, some little thing, seemed to be missing.  She searched for that "thing" in many places, and at last gave up, deciding to just go roller skating every Sunday at her local park, appreciate what God made in looking at the miracles in nature and in the little children whose eyes His love  light  clearly shined through.  She decided to "wait on Him" to reveal "it" to her in His own time and His own way.

One day, when she went out of her way to help another person in need, the Great Doer and Arranger of all arranged that, on that same day, she would be "led" to meet the person to begin the
 processing of leading her to the "thing" that was missing.  He was an herbalist, and became one of the best friends in her life, not only for the role he played in leading her to the "missing thing," but for the decent human being he was, the likes of which she had rarely met in her life up until that time.  Knowing him gave her hope that life could be so much better than just  the "what's in it for me" attitude that she had become disillusioned with after observing it as so prevalent all around her.

More intimate details of the above "journeys" will be revealed in future books planned to be published and made available to the public, with the hopes of blessing those who read those details in ways only known to the Giver and Arranger of her extraordinary experiences that true to truth did happen during this lifetime He has given to her, be it in His gracious will. .
